The Trek Fuel EX offers an ML size between Medium and Large that fills a gap most brands miss - riders between 173-183cm will appreciate this option. Despite the Norco's more aggressive trail billing, the Sight is actually the shorter bike at matched sizes: a Sight M (625/468) reaches 18mm further than a Fuel EX M (617/450) but stacks 8mm taller, while at Large the Fuel EX (621/485) reaches 7mm further than the Sight (625/478). The Norco's real quirk is that its M and L share the same 625mm stack and differ by only 10mm of reach, so the two sizes are much closer together than Trek's. If you're between sizes on the Norco, size down for agility; on the Trek, the ML may be your perfect fit. Note that Fuel EX figures here are the as-shipped Mino Link Low setting with the neutral headset cup.
