2026 frame sizes by height and inseam for Aeroad, Ultimate, Endurace, Grail, Spectral and Neuron
Canyon sells direct and sizes you with its Perfect Positioning System, which pairs your height with inseam rather than leg length alone. Road and gravel bikes like the Aeroad, Ultimate, Endurace and Grail run 2XS to 2XL, while Spectral, Neuron and other mountain bikes use XS to XL. Find your height row first, check it against your inseam, then look at reach if you land between two sizes. Since you can't test ride before buying, it pays to confirm with a calculator.

Specific sizing recommendations for Canyon's most popular bike models. Geometry measurements shown for reference size (typically M or 54cm).
Aero race bike with aggressive geometry. Integrated cockpit requires careful size selection-use Canyon's PPS tool for optimal fit.
Endurance road bike with a taller stack and shorter reach than the Aeroad, plus Canyon's VCLS vibration-damping seatpost. The relaxed geometry accommodates a wider range of flexibility-riders between sizes should size up for all-day comfort or size down if they prefer a sportier, more compact cockpit.

Trail/enduro bike with 150mm travel. Modern long geometry-many riders size down from road sizing; prioritize reach over height.
Gravel bike with unique double-decker handlebar. CP20 cockpit affects fit-consider stack height when sizing.
Full-suspension e-MTB with Bosch Performance CX motor and 750Wh battery. 140mm travel trail geometry pairs with Canyon's Triple Phase suspension-use Canyon's PPS fit tool and size as you would for the acoustic Neuron.
E-gravel bike with Bosch SX motor and 400Wh battery, plus optional range extender. Unique double-decker handlebar and gravel-optimized geometry-riders should match their Grail CF size for consistent positioning on long mixed-terrain rides.
Urban commuter e-bike with Bosch Performance Line motor and 545Wh integrated battery. The motor adds roughly 3.5 kg of low-centered weight which stabilizes handling at speed. Available in diamond and step-through frames-step-through riders should match standover height to inseam, while diamond-frame riders should also consider reach to the flat handlebar for a relaxed commuting posture.
5th-gen all-rounder race frame: lighter and slightly more compliant than the Aeroad, with semi-aero tube shapes that compromise less on climbing. Size M is 560/393, which is 35 mm taller in stack than the Aeroad CFR at the same size - riders moving from an Aeroad to an Ultimate typically drop spacers under the stem to keep the same bar height. Available across CF SL, CF SLX and CFR layups; geometry is identical between them.
Pure UCI cyclocross race frame: 33c tire clearance, high bottom bracket for pedal clearance through corners, and the distinctive kinked top tube for shouldering during run-ups. Size M is 572/393 - 12 mm taller and identical reach to the road-going Ultimate CF SL. CX-specific; not the right frame for gravel bikepacking despite the drop bars (look at the Grail or Grizl instead).
Enduro full-suspension with 160 mm rear travel, 170 mm fork, and the Shapeshifter geometry-adjust system that drops the seat angle by 1.5° and lowers the BB at the flick of a lever. Size M reach is a long 475 mm with 634 mm stack - aggressive even by modern enduro standards. Many riders in the 172-180 cm range will be more comfortable sizing down to S (455 mm reach) for technical, switchback-heavy terrain.
Down-country / aggressive XC platform with 120 mm front and 110 mm rear travel - splits the difference between the pure-XC Lux World Cup and the trail-leaning Neuron. Size M stack/reach is 600/460. Compared to the Cannondale Scalpel (M 602/430) the Lux Trail runs 30 mm longer in reach, which suits taller riders or anyone wanting more stability on rough descents.
Race-spec downhill bike with 200 mm rear travel, high-pivot idler, and a 63° head angle. Available in full 29" or Mullet (29"/27.5") spec - both share the M reach of 460 mm and stack of 623 mm. Park and race bike only; the steep seat tube angle and DH-only suspension make it unsuitable for trail riding. Most park riders pick the size based on bike park preference - shorter reach (M) for playful, longer (L) for raw race speed.
Fitness flat-bar based on Endurace road geometry but with a wider 28c tire spec and integrated lights/fenders/rack mounts. Size M is 563/420 - the reach matches an Endurace M (375 mm + 45 mm of stem and bar reach for a comparable cockpit). Best for commuters and fitness riders who want road-bike efficiency without drop bars.
Trekking hybrid built around 700×50c tires, a suspension fork, and a wide-range 1x drivetrain. Size M stack/reach is 617/404 - more upright than the Roadlite but tipped slightly forward for efficient pedalling over distance. The standard diamond frame and the mid-step variant share most of the geometry; mid-step lowers the standover by about 40 mm for easier mount-and-dismount.
Aggressive alloy hardtail with 140 mm fork and trail-bike geometry - longer reach and slacker head angle than a typical XC hardtail. Size M is 626/455, which is identical reach to the Lux Trail full-suspension at the same number. Riders shopping the Stoic against the Cannondale Trail SE 4 (M 626/440) get 15 mm more reach for similar money - more capable on steep descents but a stretched-out cockpit on long climbs.
Light-assist e-road bike with Fazua Ride 60 motor in the bottom bracket and a 430 Wh battery in the down tube - the integration is subtle enough that the bike looks like a regular Endurace AL. Published M geometry (590/378) is close enough to the acoustic Endurace AL that riders sizing from one to the other can stick with the same frame size. Battery removal is tool-less, useful for riders who park outdoors.
