The rule
Louisiana permits cyclists to ride two abreast on the roadway. Two abreast permitted on the roadway; riders shall not impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic and must drop to single file when necessary to allow overtaking. See La. R.S. 32:197 (Riding on roadways and bicycle paths).
