Oklahoma permits cyclists to ride two abreast on the roadway. Persons riding bicycles upon a roadway shall not ride more than two abreast except on paths or parts of roadways set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles. The two-abreast clause is part of the general riding-on-roadways statute. See 47 O.S. § 11-1205 (Local regulation of bicycles).
Group rides in Oklahoma can ride two abreast on most roads. Keep an eye on traffic behind — if a faster vehicle can't safely pass, single up.

Highway-access and group-riding rules favour riders who can hold a straight line at speed. Start with a frame that fits.
