The rule
West Virginia permits cyclists to ride two abreast on the roadway. WV Code § 17C-11-6 permits riding no more than two abreast except on paths or parts of roadways set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles. Riders shall not impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic. See WV Code § 17C-11-6 (Riding on roadways and bicycle paths).
