Bike fit and mobility: make the right size feel right

A frame-size result gets the bike into range. It cannot see your saddle position, cockpit setup, riding video, or how the position feels after an hour.

Use this hub to choose the next job: check the bike position, follow a mobility routine, or get hands-on help.

Choose the job before the provider

These options overlap at the edges, but they are not interchangeable. Start with the question you need answered.

Check the riding position

Use a video-based fit tool when the question is saddle height, reach, bar position, or another mechanical adjustment.

Best match: MyVeloFit

Build an off-bike routine

Use guided mobility or strength sessions when the bike is broadly workable and consistency is the missing piece.

Best match: Dynamic Cyclist

Get hands-on help

Choose an in-person fitter when you want the bike and rider inspected together or self-adjustment has stopped being useful.

Best match: a qualified local fitter

When sizing is not the whole answer

The location of discomfort can suggest what to inspect first. It cannot diagnose the cause. Record the current setup, change one reversible variable, and use a short familiar ride for the first check.

Follow the step-by-step guide

Knees

Re-check saddle height, fore-aft position, and recent cleat changes. Location alone does not prove the cause.

Neck and lower back

Review reach, bar height, and how long you can hold the position without bracing.

Hands

Review reach, hood or grip angle, bar width, and how much weight rests on the hands.

Saddle area

Review height, angle, width, clothing, and whether the hips rock or the rider slides forward.
