The rule
Maine permits cyclists to ride two abreast on the roadway. Two abreast permitted on the roadway except when impeding the normal and reasonable movement of traffic; riders must move to single file when being overtaken on roadways too narrow to share. See Me. Rev. Stat. tit. 29-A § 2063 (Operation of bicycles).
